I don't tend to bake with wholemeal flour as much because I find my cakes are a little more dense than made with white bread flour. I don't mind this, but there have been comments made in the household about it!!! Humph! Still, I will try your recipe next time because your bread looks lovely and I love the sound of the oath, malty flavour it has .
