Easy Slow Cooker Chinese Minced Beef

Ingredients

  • 500 grams lean minced beef
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 2 tbsp rice wine
  • 2 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 2 tsp garlic paste
  • tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 15 grams fresh coriander

Instructions

  • Add all the ingredients to the slow cooker pot
  • Mix it all well in with a big spoon.
  • Cook for 2 hours on high.
  • Serve straight away or keep warm in the slow cooker which is what the slow cooker just loves to do.

Notes

  • Add an egg on top for extra fabulousness.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days or freeze for 3 months
  • Switch the minced beef for turkey or pork
  • Serve with rice or cauliflower rice for a lower calorie option
  • Add 1 medium red pepper chopped into strips added to the pot
  • Add pinch of chilli flakes added to the pot
  • 2 tbsp sweet chilli sauce instead of 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 sliced spring onions - garnish
  • sesame seeds as garnish
  • You could always cook this in a pan in a stir fry kinda way, chuck it all in and fry in a tbsp of oil way
