Easy Chinese Beef Mince is so super easy it's ridiculous. Hurrah! Simply throw it all in the slow cooker and go and do something less boring instead. It's thrifty and deeply delicious and a perfect midweek meal or fakeaway recipe.

Ingredients

- 500 grams (1lb) lean minced beef (5% fat)
- 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 2 tbsp rice wine - can use dry white wine
- 2 tbsp dark soy sauce- can use lighter soy sauce
- 2 tsp garlic paste
- 1 & half tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 15 grams (0.5oz) fresh coriander
Variations/Extras/Garnishes
- pinch of chilli flakes added to the pot
- 2 tbsp sweet chilli sauce instead of 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 medium red pepper chopped into strips added to the pot
- 2 sliced spring onions - garnish
- sesame seeds as garnish
Method
- Chuck all the ingredients into the slow cooker pot. Pretend you're on a cooking show.

- Mix it all with a big old spoon or spatula.

- Cook for 2 hours on high

- It's not the prettiest until it gets on that white rice and then it gets the most amazing glow up. Scatter over chopped coriander to serve
- Serve straight away or keep warm in the slow cooker which is what the slow cooker just loves to do, so let it shine.

Tips
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days or freeze for 3 months
- Switch the minced beef for turkey or pork
- Serve with rice or cauliflower rice for a lower calorie option or a bowl full of noodles
- You could always cook this in a pan in a stir fry kinda way, chuck it all in and fry in a tbsp of oil way.
- Add an egg on top for extra fabulousness.
