Find that comfy chair, undo your bra (if you’re wearing one), pour your favourite tipple and grab your favourite nibble. This is THE place to come for inspiration and delicious recipes. A veritable feast for foodies and bloggers alike. Find out what's in, whats out but most of all find some outstanding recipes to make your kitchen table groan with fabulous food.

In the last few weeks the U.K has been almost constantly buffeted and battered by squalling fierce winds and rain. It seemed no end was in sight. So who can blame me if I was drawn to these wonderful warming soups and stews? I love a bit of good old fashioned comfort food. These sort of recipes make the cold and wet weather almost worth it.

I absolutely love to know that I have something warming cooking for the family and I enjoy the deep and mellow flavours synonymous with the colder weather. One of my families biggest favourites is my Slow Cooker Spaghetti Bolognese. I have been making it week in and week out lately as well as my Butter Chicken at the weekends. My last blog post was the ultimate in winter comfort food too.

These winter warmers really do make all the difference at my house. So I couldn't help but share some of the amazing #CookBlogShare Week 11 Stews and Soups with you this week.

Vegan Irish Stew Over Mashed Cauliflower

Vegan Stew Over Cauliflower

This delicious Vegan Irish Stew Over Mashed Cauliflower from Looney For Food is just packed full of tasty veggies and meaty mushrooms in a mushroom gravy. Served over a tasty low carb cauliflower mash. Delicious, healthy comfort food just perfect to come home to in the chilly weather. I would love a steaming bowl of this at the end of any day.

Pav-Bhaji (Mashed Veggies and Bread Rolls)

Pav-Bhaji

Pav Bhaji from Simple Gluten Free Kitchen is a popular street food originally from Mumbai and famous all across India. It is a vegetable quick stew cooked with masala and served with a side of soft bread. How delicious does that sound?! It is perfect for using up any left over vegetables in the fridge making it thrifty as well as healthy. Balvinder tops it with a little red onion and coriander.

Lemon Turmeric Chicken Orzo Soup

Lemon Turmeric Chicken Orzo Soup

This Lemon Turmeric Chicken Orzo Soup from Flipped Out Food had me at lemon chicken. It is a soup of wonderful flavours, perfectly paired. Michelle likes to use supermarket rotisserie chicken for this soup, stripping it and then using the carcass for incredible stock. She uses a vegetable base before adding wine, chicken, greens and the pasta. Finally finishing with some lemon juice. What an incredible meal. Divine.

Roasted Tomato And Red Pepper Soup.

Roasted Tomato And Red Pepper Soup

This wonderful Roasted Red Tomato And Red Pepper Soup from Curly's Kitchen looks incredible. I have always loved this soup so Cat's fabulous photos really caught my eye. I can't get enough of the stuff. Cat roasts all her ingredients for maximum flavour before adding milk and chicken stock. A delicious bowl of this will easily see off any winter chills.

Just love warming winter soups and stews - at almost any time of the year. Your crumble looks pretty epic too, so yes please to a bowl of that with custard. Just off to make some carrot and parsnip soup.
